About this frame

A slim, square 17mm profile — understated and endlessly versatile, in a deep, confident black in a smooth, closed-grain finish. It suits monochrome photography, bold typographic prints and anything you want to feel grounded and gallery-sharp. Each frame is cut, mitred and assembled to fit your print — handmade in the UK and shipped ready to hang.

Made to your size. Every frame is cut, joined and glazed to order, which is why we can't accept returns on made-to-measure frames. Please check your size before ordering.

Arrives perfect, or we remake it. Every frame travels in specialised picture frame packaging. If anything reaches you less than perfect, send us a photo within 48 hours of delivery and we'll remake it free.

Caring for it. Peel any protective film from the glazing, then clean with a soft, dry cloth. Don't use glass cleaner.

A2 (420 × 594 mm) is a statement size — large posters, art prints and gallery-style photography. Roughly four times the size of A4.

The opening size shown refers to the size of your photo or artwork. We cut the window slightly smaller so the mount overlaps the edges and helps prevent your picture from falling through. The frame’s outside dimensions depend on your chosen moulding.

Will my picture fit?

Measure the full paper size and check how much of its edge can sit behind the mount. Keep important details and signatures clear of the opening edge. If you want to keep the frame size on this page instead, adding a mount means using smaller artwork. Check the available openings in the frame options above.

What's a A2 picture frame best for?

A2 is a versatile size for prints, photos and posters. Sits well on a desk, shelf or wall — large enough to make an impact, small enough to group with others.

Can I add a mount to a A2 frame?

Yes — two mount apertures available — A3 (large) or A4 (small), in white or black.

Are the frames real wood?

Yes. Our wood mouldings are solid wood with closed-grain, open-grain or bobbin finishes, handmade in the UK. Metal mouldings are real aluminium.

How long does delivery take?

Each frame is cut and assembled to order. Dispatched in 2–5 working days.
