Picture Framing in Richmond, London
We're a picture framing workshop in Richmond, London. We cut and assemble every frame ourselves — bespoke sizes, hand-finished mouldings, mounts cut to your dimensions — and we ship nationwide.
You can design a frame online in a few minutes, or come and see the materials in person by appointment.
What we do
Bespoke framing to any size. If your piece isn't a standard size — an odd-shaped print, an original on paper, a canvas, a jersey, a finished puzzle — we cut the frame to it. Start with our online framing designer and choose the moulding, mount and glazing yourself.
Mount cutting. Standard and premium mounts, cut to your aperture, in a range of colours and patterned finishes.
Printing and framing together. Upload a file and we'll print it on archival fine-art paper and frame it, ready to hang.
Ready-made frames. Standard sizes, made by Nielsen, if you don't need bespoke — always the cheaper route when your piece fits one.
Visit us in Richmond
Our workshop is in Richmond, London, and we see customers by appointment. That means when you come in, someone is there to talk through mouldings, hold samples against your artwork, and give you a proper answer on what something will cost — rather than you queuing at a counter.
Appointments are available Monday to Thursday, 10:30am to 5pm. Get in touch to arrange one, and tell us roughly what you're framing and its size so we can have the right samples out.
Bringing something valuable or irreplaceable? Say so when you book. We'll talk you through conservation glazing and acid-free mounting before you commit to anything.
Why come in at all?
Most people don't need to, and we'd rather say that plainly than pretend otherwise. If you're framing a print in a standard size, ordering online is faster and cheaper and the result is identical.
An appointment earns its keep when the decision is genuinely hard to make on a screen: matching a moulding to a specific frame you already own, judging a mount colour against the actual artwork, framing something three-dimensional, or working out how to handle a piece that's damaged, oversized or one of a kind.
What framing costs
Made-to-measure framing starts at £26 and moves with size, moulding and mount. We've written an honest breakdown of what picture framing costs and why, including where the money actually goes and how to spend less without regretting it.
